I had a blast at the photo shoot with Jim Garrett [again] ! Instead of taking it back to the hot and steamy Apple Valley, we cooled it down at Laguna Beach. Keep checking back for updates!! Photos are still being processed but I took a few mobile shots before the shoot

Forever 21

Forever 21 is the super fashion chain that has definitely made a name for itself ! Their clothes come in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes– it is almost impossible not to find something you like! It doesn’t hurt that when you walk through the door, there are cheerful employees greeting you at the door!

One of the best perks of the store, is that each section plays up a whole new style entirely that are distinctively different from the others. One moment you pass through hi-fashion runway clothing with bright flashy colors and  the next section may be classically beautiful and elegant with pearl necklace and lace-y trimmed dresses. The store doesn’t just stop with clothes either: they sell a variety of different jewelry, shoes, bags/purses, and accessories that you can pick-up by the check-out!

I admit that I was not always the ‘Forever 21 girl’ I am now but my loyalty was won and I  can not resist their irresistible styles that come in such affordable prices!

One weekend in L.A.,

my good friend Diane and I stopped by Third Street Promenade to run some errands and had to make a *ahem* “quick” trip to Forever

Here is what went down:

There was so much to pick from, you KNOW I had to buy a few things

Colored shorts are DEFINITELY a hot buy this summer ! They add a little extra something to an outfit — and at Forever, they range from about $9 – $17/ a piece.

So, of course I had to buy one….

Okay, two but they were really cute<3

I am definitely a HUGE fan of Hello Kitty! This comfortable top was a must-buy! Besides, its vintage

The weather is picking up and summer has made its presence known. Unfortunately the strap for my one-piece black swimsuit broke
(I have to get it fixed) and is in the midst of getting fixed………. SO I thought I might as well get another hot one piece while the other one is in repair
Can’t ever have too many swimsuits !!

Last weekend (June 19, 2010) I took on my first salesmodel position for Push Models managment @CVS stores in Lawndale.

Maybelline was promoting their newest product “Falsies” mascara!

No, not that!

Yesterday (May 13, 2010) I was a guest on the KBeach radio show “Sex @the Beach”. It was a blast!

I thought to myself, the show is from 9-11pm!? That is SOOOOOOO long~
However, with co-hosts Kate and Dre, time went by so fast!

They were simply amazing and I had so much fun!
We covered topics such as: modeling, Asian stereotypes (yes, we have peripheral vision!), the “devil’s” threesome, and much much more!

Some of the questions they asked were:

-A little background about myself

-How did I get started?

-If I were to dress up for a naughty deed, what would I dress up as?

-Can I see as much as someone with bigger eyes? (hah!)

-What movie would be better/worse if the cast were completely naked?

-Any advice on confidence building?

I even got my very first radio show prank call! .. or so we think?

So what happened was: I brought back some strawberry and chocolate pocky for my roomie Rachel AKA “Ru-mi”.

She never had it before and I told her that strawberry is soooooo yummy!
BUT she prefers chocolate!!! ;P

We had a little facebook status war where I said strawberry was better and she would retaliate by saying chocolate  is!

….well sort of.

I finally had the courage to tell my mom that I model.

For some time I would hint at the subject but she never took it seriously. I figured it just was not the right time and continued to keep it on the down low.

Well, after some time, I decided that I should tell her….

She did not show any disapproval, which came as a major relief! When we finally got home from Long Beach–I showed her photos from my past photo shoots. I was pleased that she did not say anything discouraging, and though she said some of them were “too sexy” for her to see of her daughter, she said she liked them!

WHEW!!

I am glad that I was able to tell her <3
